Vision of a green future

AluShel is

We manufacture bus shelters at our facilities in Järvenpää, Southern Finland.

All aluminum products (bus shelters, bike shelters, bike racks, shelter canopies) are assembled in Finland at our own facilities.

AluShel is a family-owned Finnish company that has been manufacturing street furniture for cyclists and public transportation for 25 years.

Our vision is to drive infrastructure towards a greener and more sustainable future. User-friendly and stylish solutions, along with long-lasting material choices, enable high utilization rates and a low carbon footprint for street furniture.

Our values

In product design, we focus on high-quality design. Design plays a key role in ensuring the product is functional for the end user.

01 Quality

Naturally, quality involves high-quality materials, skilled installers, and a highly developed production and design process. To ensure quality, we follow the FPC quality system.

For the manufacture of products based on our aluminum profile system, we use the certified ISO 9001 quality system and the ISO 14001 environmental certification.

Our street furniture is designed with quality in mind to withstand even harsh snow and wind loads.
Both the product’s quality and the reliability of our company are reflected in our long-lasting customer relationships.

02 Sustainability

The longer a product lasts over time and with use, the smaller its carbon footprint becomes. AluShel’s products are durable and long-lasting, designed to be easily maintained and serviced.

It’s not enough to create durable products – they must also be made in an environmentally sustainable way. We use a variety of materials, from wood to aluminum, and are constantly looking for more sustainable ways to find greener solutions. The aluminum we use is 100% recycled.

03 Design

A well-designed piece of street furniture is both functional and visually appealing. That’s why we focus on high-quality design in product development.

Stylish design enhances the environment’s comfort, the public transport passenger experience, and improves the cityscape. Design plays a crucial role in creating a positive customer experience.

We love design, which is why we offer Finland’s largest selection of bus shelters and bike shelters. Additionally, we have designed over 10 different bike racks or product families. Practical and visually pleasing design is important to us.
